gypten Project Credit Roll

The gypten project added S/MIME and Sphinx capabilities to KMail and Mutt.

This work under contract for the German Bundesamt fr Sicherheit in
der Informationstechnik (BSI, http://www.bsi.de) was performed
by the Free Software companies Intevation GmbH (http://intevation.net,
Project Management), g10 Code GmbH (http://www.g10code.de,
Cryptographic Components) and Klarlvdalens Datakonsult AB
(http://www.klaralvdalens-datakonsult.se/Public/?lang=en, KDE Components).

New and extended modules
------------------------

 KMail:         Extended with full OpenPGP, S/MIME and Sphinx capabilities.
 KAddressbook:  Extended with LDAP support.
 Certmanager:   New. Implements KDE GUI for S/MIME certificate management.
 NewPG (GpgSM): New. Implements CMS (S/MIME) and will be merged with GnuPG.
 GpgME:         Extended with S/MIME and key management.
 libksba:       New. Implements X.509 and CMS parser and generator.
 libgcrypt:     Extended with some helper functions and multi-thread safe.
 GnuPG:         Extended with support for the Pinentry.
 OpenSC:        Extended with support for TCOS cards and bug fixes.
 DirMngr:       New. Implements LDAP access and CRL management.
 Pinentry:      New. Implements secure PIN entry for qt, gtk+ and curses.
 Mutt:          Extended with S/MIME and Sphinx capabilities.
