This is a Security Integration Architecture (SIA) Plugin for Compaq Tru64
servers that wish to allow Kerberos V5 authentication via the SIA interfaces.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS MODULE IS UNDER CONSTANT DEVELOPMENT

This module was developed by me for use by the School of Computing &
Information Technology. Please feel free to use this module but please be
aware that we do not support nor recommend the use of this software. However
if you wish to contact me about this module I can usually be of some help.

This module allows for authentication using products like sudo, login, telnet,
ftp etc. It is up to the administrator to decide if this product undermines
the security of kerberos in their case. (We only allow ssh connections to
tru64 machines so there is no leakage of passwords). This plugin allows for
users to change their kerberos passwords using the standard passwd command.
It also creates new credentials caches when doing a su to a different user.

Administrators wishing to use this software will also need to update their
matrix.conf file to reflect the new sia plugin. A sample matrix.conf is
available in this directory.

To compile this program, you will need a working installation
of MIT Kerberos 1.2.2 or higher. http://web.mit.edu/kerberos/www/
